Retired USAF and FA Air Traffic Controller with a lifelong love for travel and adventure. My favorite way to travel is to buy a Eurail Pass and travel all over Europe at my own pace I ususally do this at least twice a year. I also love to cruise and take several cruises per year.

Recently, I’ve learned that I can combine both these passions and have taken several transatlantic cruises where I explore Europe via train before or after my cruise crossing.

Another favorite place where I combine these two modes of travel is Alaska. No better way to see Alaska then to cruise to or from there and then take the amaxing Alaskan Railroad and explore Alaskan’s amazing interior.

I occassionally try other continents, like my recent flight and train excursion to Japan. Wow!

I’m also a proud father and grandfather and am so happy my family has also had a love for travel since birth.

Travel is the best way I know to open peoples eyes and help reduce ignorance of the world and promote the huge benefits that can come from understandong other people and other cultures.
